All physiotherapists seeking to practise in Malta must be registered with the Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine (CPCM) to have his/her qualification recognised and then have his/her name entered in the Register held by the Council. Registered physiotherapists are bound by a code of practice and ethical conduct.
The aim of CPCM is to safeguard the health and well-being of the public using the services of the professions it regulates, by setting and maintaining standards of professional training, performance and conduct.
